TheraDoc® Measures Record Growth and Progress in 2006

Strongest growth driven by TheraDoc's ability to help hospitals meet state mandatory reporting of HAI's

SALT LAKE CITY, February 26, 2007 – TheraDoc® Inc. www.theradoc.com, a Salt Lake City-based clinical informatics company that develops and implements real-time electronic surveillance and expert clinical decision support systems to enhance clinical decision making, reports record growth in new contract value for 2006, an increase exceeding 525-percent.

TheraDoc's real-time surveillance, identification, guidance and reporting technologies help hospitals to prevent and control infections, alert clinicians to adverse events and changes in patient condition, select evidence-based treatments and meet state-mandated reporting of hospital-acquired infections (HAI). They also reduce the associated costs and improve financial outcomes. Increasing state- and federally mandated reporting requirements in 2006 were instrumental in driving demand for TheraDoc technologies, a trend that is expected to continue as these same market forces strengthen in 2007.

"Our hospital partners continue to recognize TheraDoc's leadership in product vision, execution, service and support by adopting the TheraDoc Expert System Platform for aiding in the detection and prevention of potential patient harm," said TheraDoc president and CEO, Stan Pestotnik. "Our innovative, best-in-class solutions have earned the trust of a growing number of thought-leading healthcare organizations such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Mayo Clinic - FL, VA Hospitals and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We anticipate adding significantly to this esteemed roster of clients in 2007."

As of December 31, 2006, 139 hospitals representing 35,428 beds had licensed TheraDoc technology to provide continuous patient-safety surveillance of the 35,428 beds and real-time, patient-specific advice for 1.6 million inpatient admissions and 24+ million outpatient visits. Clients using the TheraDoc technology platforms include academic medical centers, community hospitals, VA Hospitals and integrated delivery networks throughout 26 states. TheraDoc welcomed their first freestanding pediatric hospital last year.

Also in 2006, and for the second consecutive year, the MountainWest Capital Network recognized TheraDoc among Utah's 100 fastest-growing companies. Its ranking increased to #16 from its debut ranking of #17 in 2005.

Clinical Advisory Boards Reorganized and Expanded

To assure objective, expert oversight of its best-in-class solutions and cutting-edge product development, TheraDoc took the opportunity to reorganize its Infectious Diseases Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) as well as create two new boards: the Infection Control and Prevention CAB and Adverse Drug Event CAB. Noted clinical and domain experts have agreed to chair these boards.

The Infectious Diseases CAB will be reorganized under the joint leadership of Dr. Neil Fishman, the Director of the Department of Healthcare Epidemiology and Infection Control and the Director of the Antimicrobial Management Program for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and Dr. Merle Sande, Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and a noted expert in infectious diseases and HIV management, as well as a TheraDoc co-founder.

Dr Trish M. Perl, Associate Professor of Medicine and Senior Hospital Epidemiologist at Johns Hopkins University and a recognized expert in the surveillance, prevention and control of hospital-associated infections, will chair the newly created Infection Control and Prevention CAB, while Eric A. Pifer, M.D., Chief Medical Informatics Officer at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, will lead the new Adverse Drug Events CAB.

"TheraDoc is recognized for solution credibility and market-leading product vision and execution," stated Michael Barton, SVP of Knowledge and Product Development. "Our Clinical Advisory Boards are a key addition to strengthening and solidifying this position in 2007, and we are fortunate to draw upon the outstanding academic and professional expertise of these industry leaders."

According to Barton, the CAB chairs are actively working with TheraDoc to identify leading experts and key representatives to serve as CAB members in their respective domains.

Larry D. Grandia Joins TheraDoc Board

In 2006, TheraDoc added to its board of directors, Larry D. Grandia, healthcare IT executive for more than 25 years and former executive vice president and chief technology officer of Premier, Inc.

"Larry's rich background as founder, leader, task force member and board member of multiple organizations within the healthcare industry, coupled with his years of experience at Intermountain HealthCare, Inc. (a quality-leading, 22-hospital integrated delivery network located in Utah and Idaho), affords him insights and execution skills that will further solidify our position as the standard for clinical decision support and knowledge delivery solutions to the healthcare industry," said Pestotnik.

Grandia's professional recognition includes a 1995 Gold Award for Achievement in Managing Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and American Management Systems. He was awarded HIMSS' 1992 "CIO of the Year" (John E. Gall, Jr.) Award for outstanding contributions to the field of healthcare information management, and was among the "Most Influential in Healthcare IT" named by ADVANCE for Health Information Executives in October 1999. He won CIO magazine's CIO 100 Award in 1991.

Mandatory and Public Health Reporting

TheraDoc's real-time surveillance, identification, and reporting technologies are designed for a broad range of clinical activity and are increasingly being applied to documenting and reporting hospital-acquired infections. These solutions help hospitals meet mandatory HAI reporting requirements and comply with JCAHO and CMS core measures. TheraDoc's technology is live, or is being implemented, at 52 facilities in 7 of the 15 states where some form of mandatory HAI reporting is now required by law. There are also 8 additional facilities in 6 of the 7 states that have passed measures to study the best way to implement mandatory reporting prior to mandating it.

The CDC, DoD, VA Hospitals, state health departments, clinical studies and grant recipients are also benefiting from the data assets being created by TheraDoc clients. These uses include antimicrobial resistance tracking, early detection networks for infectious diseases and bioterrorism, an infectious disease reporting RHIO, aggregated electronic lab reporting, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases management, adverse drug event tracking and signal efficiency, enhanced e-surveillance case definitions for infections, as well as other public health information needs.

TheraDoc successfully attracted a growing number of new clients in 2006 with clients now in 26 states. With its scaleable technology, TheraDoc's clients range from community hospitals under 100 beds to integrated delivery networks (IDNs) with over 3,700 beds. Academic medical centers as well as VA, children's, and oncology hospitals with their outpatient clinics are now benefiting from life-saving solutions delivered by TheraDoc.
