TheraDoc CEO Named to CCHIT Work Group on Advanced Clinical Decision Support
SALT LAKE CITY, July 1, 2009 — Stanley Pestotnik, M.S., R.Ph., president, chief executive officer, and co-founder of TheraDoc, will work with other healthcare informatics stakeholders on creating certification programs for advanced clinical decision support technology and addressing priorities of the federal economic stimulus package. Pestotnik is one of 265 members recently named by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) to participate in 19 volunteer work groups that will explore new paths to certification and rapid, widespread adoption and meaningful use of electronic medical records and clinical decision support as called for under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). ...
