Stanley L. Pestotnik, M.S., R.Ph. - Co-Founder, President and CEO
Stanley Pestotnik is a clinical pharmacist and medical informaticist. He has more than 20 years experience in managing the development and implementation of clinical decision support systems in hospitals and is internationally recognized for his work in medical expert system technologies to improve patient safety and quality of care. Additionally, for the last 15 years, he has been an independent consultant to the federal government and hospitals regarding the integration of clinical decision support systems into clinical workflow. After receiving his pharmacy degree from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, Mr. Pestotnik went on to receive a master of science in medical informatics from the University of Utah School of Medicine.
Jonathan B. Olson, B.S. - Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan Olson has more than a decade of experience in managing the development and implementation of clinical informatics applications. He has led the architecture, design and implementation of the TheraDoc Expert System Platform. Prior to joining TheraDoc, he led the Web team at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center. In that role, his major projects included the creation of one of the first Web-based medical record systems in the world. Mr. Olson received his degree in computer science from the University of Utah and is a candidate for a master of science degree in medical informatics.
Michael Barton, Pharm.D. - Senior Vice President, Knowledge and Product Development
Michael Barton is a clinical pharmacist with extensive clinical and academic experience in applied medical informatics. He has executed and managed product development and knowledge engineering for the TheraDoc Expert System Platform®, knowledge modules, alerting systems, and workflow applications. Mr. Barton has more than 10 years of experience in infectious diseases, pharmcoepidemiology, and computerized surveillance for infections and adverse events. He actively participates in the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (formerly NCCLS) M-39 workgroup for antibiogram standards development. Mr. Barton served for five years as an independent consultant for several hospital information system providers. He completed his undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy.
Brett Weaver - Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Operations
Brett Weaver brings more than 25 years of experience in the health medical software and IT industry to TheraDoc. He has led the TheraDoc sales organization to significant growth and created a successful customer-focused field organization. Mr. Weaver has a strong record of building professional relationships that benefit clients and the companies he serves. Prior to TheraDoc, he held positions of increasing responsibility at a well-known medical software provider. Mr. Weaver's primary responsibilities included directing product development and professional field services. He studied computer science and business administration at the Weber State University.
